First Base Cargo S.A is based in Nacala, Mozambique with local offices in Maputo and Pemba.
Our large and versatile fleet enables us to transport dry cargo, shipping containers, break-bulk and oversized loads both across the country and internationally. We have longstanding contracts with many clients but also provide transport on a one-off individual basis.
First Base Cargo S.A is able to assist in the purchase and subsequent delivery of construction materials, aggregates and other building supplies. Working in tandem with our affiliated company, quarrying and construction firm Bolder S.A, we ensure our customers receive delivery
Transportation containers
Our flat bed trailers are designed to carry either single or double 20FT as well as the more traditional 40FT containers. With prior agreement we can also provide loading and unloading facilities for containers at the point of collection or delivery.
Transporting Bulk Goods
First Base Cargo S.A has a fleet of 25 cubic metre capacity articulated and rigid tipper trailers with reinforced steel bins. This enables the transport of goods such as aggregate, sand, agricultural products and other materials that may not be stable on flat bed trailers. If required cargo can be covered to protect it against weather damage.
Transporting Break-Bulk Goods
Our fleet includes a range of reinforced flat bed trailers that enable us to transport up to 30MT of break-bulk cargo per load.
Transporting machinery, vehicles and extra heavy loads
We supply low bed trailers for the transportation of machines, tools and vehicles. We have also invested in abnormal/ heavier-than-normal trucks and trailers that allow us to carry out-of-gauge loads in excess of the standard Mozambique road weight limit of 30 MT.
Container Storage
We offer secure container storage at our premises in Nacala.
